Bertram Library - Burnet County Library System

Here at the Bertram Library, we are so excited to be a new Family Place Library site and ready to welcome families to our early childhood space. 

In addition to this space, we offer the following weekly & Summer programs:

• Toddler Time, Fridays, 10:30-11:15, ages 0-3, library meeting room.
• Story Time, Wednesdays, 10:30-11:15, ages 2-6.
• Chapter Book Story Time, Wednesdays, 11:30-12:00, library meeting room.
• Summer Reading & Programming, June 1, 2026-July 25, 2026, ages 0-16.

Additionally, we have a wonderful children’s book collection which include, board books, picture books, easy readers, graphic novels, junior fiction, junior nonfiction, and junior biographies.  Included in our children’s area, we have three AWE children’s computers which are geared for early literacy & learning.  Another great option for learning includes over 25 STEAM KITS, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), for various ages, that families can check out.
