UP Public Library became a Family Place Library in 2024. Since becoming a Family Place Library, our library has opened a Play Area filled with developmentally appropriate toys for children ages 0 to 5, established a parenting collection of books and resources for caregivers in our community, and have held four series of "Chat and Play" Parent-Child Workshops. Our Play Area has become a popular destination for young children and their caregivers.
