Manchester Public Library feels the Family Place programs in addition to other literacy storytime programs, events and play groups, bring families and children together and helps to build a strong literate, welcoming community.  Manchester will be opening its brand new 80,000 s/f library in the summer of 2026, there is no doubt that our children's programming helped to create the support of the community for a new library.

We have found that families, especially first time moms, really enjoy the face to face with their peers.  Attendance at our programs has been very active especially with children from the birth to three age group.
