Brookhaven Free Library proudly incorporates Family Place Library principles into its daily programs for children from birth to age four. These thoughtfully designed classes promote language development, social and emotional growth, and motor skills through shared, hands-on learning experiences.
We are committed to supporting parents as their child's first teacher by serving as a trusted resource and community hub. To further this mission, we regularly invite professionals, including school district educators, speech and language therapists, bilingual specialists, music and movement instructors, and occupational and physical therapists to engage with families, answer questions, and provide expert guidance.
