Lindenhurst Memorial Library

The Lindenhurst Library is a Family Place library located in Lindenhurst, NY. The mission of the Lindenhurst Memorial Library is to help its community engage, grow, and discover, using library resources and services. Our library not only provides children with an opportunity to learn, it also provides parents with a location that is fun and educational. Brochures are available to connect parents with information on child development,local agencies, community and educational resources and library offerings. We recently added early literacy, sensory, and STEM kits to our circulating Library of Things collection to enhance services to patrons.

As we watch our patrons grow from babies attending our many classes or just enjoying a playful day in our library, to adults attending our technology, cooking and craft classes, we are hopeful that we have succeeded in creating not only lifelong learners but also lifelong library users.
