Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library

As a Family Place Library we provide opportunities, experiences and support for adults to talk, sing, read, write and play with their children from birth on. Our Playspace as well as our Parent/Child Workshop is filled with books, toys, educational materials, resource professionals and information that supports parents in their role as their children's first and most important teachers. In 2025, Family Place has assisted our library in providing resource professionals to our patrons and refining our Parent/Child Workshop as it exists in our new space. This year, we have also been able to establish a Community Connect table on our floor where families can receive resources from local agencies. Additionally, having our larger building running again has had a very positive impact on our Playspace and program offerings.
