Adamstown Area Library

The Adamstown Area Library is once again fortunate to be partnering with the Cocalico and Elanco School Districts to bring Play & Learn Sessions to the community. With both organizations working together, we have reached more families and especially those families in low-income status. We are able to connect families to Resource Professionals in an area where children will be attending public school in a few years. This is a great way to introduce children to the school environment and provides the library with a large space to hold Family Place workshops. We are also in providing the opportunity for free play of manipulatives, train table, blocks, puppet theater, coloring table, puzzles, kitchen set, etc. We have also added a Play & Learn Center (promoting the 5 BASICS) which includes toys, puppets, vocab, blocks, books, and more. This has had a positive impact within our community and entire service area.
