The Pottsville Free Public Library provides unique services and resources to the local community. These include programs for youth ages one to 18 that encourage and foster literacy and STEM education. The Library has a STEM Corner for children ages 1-11. This provides various robotic, math, engineering, and other types of kits for families to borrow or use in-house. The library also collaborates with local artists to provide educational and enriching programs for children of all ages. The Library also offers weekly grab and go craft and activity bags, Family Night programs weekly in the summer and monthly the rest of the year as well as craft and coloring tables. The library has various materials for checking out to help foster screen free fun and learning, such as Tonie Boxes and Tonie Figures, Early Literacy Kits, Vox picture books, board books, STEM kits, toys and board games.
