Upper Moreland Free Public Library

Our Family Place Library is a free space where all families in our extended community are welcome! It is a non-traditional library space; we don't expect our users to quietly read (unless they feel like it!) Our families are encouraged to play, laugh, learn, explore, and be loud while they enjoy each other and all that the library has to offer. Upper Moreland Free Public Library has grab and go Pre-K Kits available monthly for children and caregivers to continue to learn and explore their world at home! Developmentally appropriate activities, resources, challenges, and playtimes are provided so children can learn while they play! Our Family Place Parent & Child workshops continue to bring new families to the library, introducing them to all the services Upper Moreland Free Public Library offers, and connecting them with resources to help their families grow stronger. We are constantly adding new items to the children's room, including furniture, toys and sensory items. Being present in the area and with patrons allows us to determine the needed items for our space. The room also has doors so that little ones can roam and explore in a safe area and caregivers can enjoy a relaxing playtime.
