The Denison Public Library's Family Space is designed to be a fun and welcoming place where children and caregivers can play, learn, and grow together. Our collection of age-appropriate materials for young children and their parents includes board and picture books, puzzles, blocks, learning and building toys, a play kitchen, and other dramatic play items. The Family Place provides a rich space for little ones to explore, along with comfortable adult furniture, located in one safe space. Our children's staff has expertise in early childhood learning and are eager to assist our patrons. On average, over 1100 children and adults visit our Family Place per month.  Ongoing in-house programs for little ones are offered twice weekly and include Little Lambs, for babies ages birth to toddler, Wonder Years story time for toddlers to 5 year-olds, and Joyful Noise, a music and movement program for 2-5 year-olds.
