Our Family Place Library is available to the public and provides programs to engage families and present the opportunity for diverse social engagement within the community. Children learn through play, socialization, and exploration. In our Kids Zone, children participate in dramatic play, using the materials provided, such as our grocery stand, kitchenette, and home station. In this area, baby dolls and food toys allow them to act out their understanding of the world around them and express their interests.

We also have a Children's Garden. This allows families and their children an additional space to explore and engage in STEM activities and an opportunity for them to interact with plants, and our tiniest creatures.

There are tactile activities and sensory toys including Legos, sensory shapes, and magnets, available for a variety of age groups to enjoy. And of course, there are puzzles to help children extend their hand–eye coordination, shape recognition, and fine motor skills.

Finally, our Art Studio is available, offering a variety of programs for families and children to engage in creative expression and make literacy connections.
