Main Library - Charleston County Public Library

We originally planned to offer two parent-child workshops in winter/spring and two in fall, but were only able to offer the winter/spring workshops due to staffing turnover and shortages. The workshops are impactful for creating relationships with patrons and families ad introducing patrons to the extent of our programs and services. The older babies' (23-24 months) caregivers have been reluctant to transition to toddler time as they've bonded with other families who attend the programs. The workshops have helped patrons expand their knowledge of what the library can offer them and extend the opportunity to engage with staff, community resources and materials.
