Toys and Family Place-specific programming have returned in 2023. We offered a very popular and well attended Play and Learn session from April to May, where we had very engaged and excited community professionals interacting with families and their children. We are excited to offer our next Play and Learn series in October on a weekday afternoon, to reach our caregiver and nanny populations. Families continue to gather in the children's place and enjoy exploring the Family Place area which rotates its toy offerings monthly, as well as exploring our new outdoor Discover Together space. In-person story times have been well attended, including our outdoor story times offered in June and July. Take and make crafts and activities after select story times have also continued to be popular with our families. In the fall of 2022 and this coming fall, we offer the in-person, outdoors Raise a Reader September festival.
