The Egelston Branch of the Muskegon Area District Library is a Family Place Library. Twice a year 1, 2, 3, Play with Me (parent/child workshop) is held for 5 weeks. Families have the opportunity to spend time together, make new friends, and talk one-on-one with a different community resource professional each week. Watching the families create friendships and community is amazing.
Other programs we offer are family storytimes and programs for all ages. The Family Place Model has inspired other play based programs to be held at 4 other branch locations. Muskegon Area District Library has 11 locations throughout the Muskegon County, MI.
