The Bedford Branch Library in Northeast Ohio serves the communities of Bedford, Bedford Heights, Oakwood, and Walton Hills as a part of the Cuyahoga County Public Library System (CCPL). Twice a year, Bedford offers a five-week “Baby Club” for caregivers and children from birth to three years old. Caregivers learn helpful tips and research-backed practices to boost their baby’s brain through play and connection with other families. In 2023, Bedford hosted sixty babies and their caregivers at Baby Club. Additionally, the branch offers family storytimes, crafts, and STEAM programming. During the school year, CCPL partners with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to provide after-school meals. During the summer, the library provides lunches to minors.
