South Garland Library

The South Garland Library has been a Family Place Library since 2022. Our play area welcomes hundreds of visitors each month. Families love the play kitchen setup and our rotation of imaginative toys.

In addition to our twice-yearly Family Place Playgroup, we offer a range of early literacy programs, including weekly storytimes, a monthly process-art program, and special events throughout the year, like an indoor obstacle course and our annual Tot Prom.

It is a privilege to support caregivers in their role as their little ones’ first teachers. Families are delighted to see the variety of services we have to offer, from parenting-focused materials to open-ended play opportunities. We love seeing how the library has become a community destination for families to play, explore, and make friends.
