Garfield Library - Del Valle Libraries

Our library is a welcoming hub where families with young children can learn, play, and grow together. In supporting early literacy, play-based learning, and parent education/support, our library is helping build strong foundations during a child’s most important developmental years. We have also strengthened community connections through our Play & Learn Workshops, empowered our parents/caregivers in their parenting journeys, and encouraged our children to explore, learn, and grow together!

In 2025, 71 children and 59 adults attended our two Play & Learn toddler/caregiver programs.
