Mansfield Public Library has measurably impacted the community as a Family Place Library since its designation in October of 2017. Pre and post-workshop surveys reveal that each parent or caregiver leaves the workshop praising the knowledge and information that they’ve gained. From its inception to the present, the library has conducted five workshops, serving a total of sixty-three parents or caregivers and their children. The library has also created lasting partnerships with local professionals within the field of early childhood development. As a Family Place Library, Mansfield Public Library has garnered praise from local city officials and library patrons alike for advancing the education of parents and the development of its youngest community members.
