Joseph T. Simpson Public Library provides two four-week Parent and Toddlers Together Workshops, one in the fall and one in the spring. During these workshops, there is a library resource expert available as well as another professional resource expert to answer questions about your child's development, health, etc., as well as parenting questions. You are invited to play and to interact with your child and others using developmentally appropriate toys and materials provided by the library. In addition, please feel free to visit our Parent Teacher Collection in the Children's Area; this collection provides many resources regarding your child's growth and development and parenting. Many families who have attended our Parents and Toddlers Together Workshops have expressed their pleasure regarding the program, which provides free play and interaction time while having resource experts available to answer questions while adults and children create connections with others.
