The Heber Branch Family Place Space includes low-shelving filled with toys, a dramatic play area, carpet, and small children's chair. While the space is small, staff have noted small groups of children adults simultaneously playing in the space. In the Heber area, there is no other indoor play space available for families and as a result, the library's Family Play Space has been well received. Since this new space has been created, it is typical to see a family visit the space during the morning hours (typically a stay-at-home parent) each day. In addition to the play space, the Parent-Child Workshops have also provided a time and space for parents to connect with each other. As a result, a large group of parents have created their own "stroller in the park club" who meet weekly.
