The Jennie Trent Dew Library is pleased to be a part of the Family Place Network of Libraries. We provide our community the resources that nurture child development through our specially designed play area, which includes educational toys, manipulatives, blocks, puzzles, picture books and so much more. Our Storytime and reading programs like “1000 Books before Kindergarten” and the summer reading program, promote critical early literacy skills to set children up for success.
We are excited to begin offering a five-week Parent/Child workshop this spring where parents and children come together to play, make new friends and have the opportunity to speak with resource professionals on subjects such as Early Literacy, Speech and Language Development, Child Development, Nutrition and the benefits of music and movement.
Our library offers many other services to the families in our community like public computers, Wi-Fi, printing, faxing and more. We invite everyone in the Goldthwaite and Mills County area to visit our Family Place Library.
