Emmaus Public Library serves a wide range of library users - urban, suburban, and rural - and strives to build community through our Family Place Library status. 2023 was the first year in which we provided two Family Place Parent Child Workshops, as well as starting a library card specifically for library users who are zero to five years of age with the Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative.

We welcomed Larissa Noto, of the Lovely Little Lotus Yoga, and Heather Kistler, a pediatric dietician from the Lehigh Valley Health Network, in our workshops! They will be returning in 2024.

Our Creative Play and Pre-reading areas saw many young library users growing in imagination and development, and provided support to their caregivers and families!
